The Dream of First-Class Flights
On Ground Services
If you're a First Class passenger, you'll be able to enjoy a
complimentary chauffeur-driven service. A chauffeur will collect you
from your home or office and when you touch down at your destination, a
chauffeur will take you to your desired location. The chauffeur-drive
service is currently available from the Emirates departure airports. For
First and Business class passengers checking in from Dubai, as well as
Gold and Silver members of Skywards, Emirates offers a unique check-in
'lounge'. The light and spacious new lounge has been designed to make
sure your passage through the airport is as smooth and hassle-free as
possible, with a modern design that offers the ultimate in comfort and
luxury.
Lounges
The Emirates Lounge offers a place of refuge whilst you wait for your
flight and is available to First and Business Class passengers. You can
now relax in the lounges in Auckland, Bangkok, Brisbane, Dubai,
Frankfurt, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, London Gatwick, London Heathrow,
Melbourne, Munich, New York's John F. Kennedy, Paris' Charles de Gaulle,
Perth, Singapore and Sydney. In the lounge you can enjoy a selection of
food and beverages. The large buffet and full bar service will help
revive you with an emphasis on fresh, healthy, wholesome food. Early
birds can enjoy a breakfast selection, while later in the day, guests
can select from Arabic, Far Eastern, Western or vegetarian cuisine. For
those with a sweet tooth, the array of desserts will prove irresistible.
A fully-equipped Business Centre with independent work stations and
complimentary broadband and wireless LAN access means you can work up
until your flight.
First Class Seat
Emirates First Class private suites (Available on Airbus A340-500,
Airbus A380, Boeing B777-200LR, Boeing 777-300ERs) are finished in fine
leather and genuine walnut, with subtle gold accents, the First Class
cabin exudes refined comfort. Its First Class suites are arranged in a
1-2-1 configuration for maximum privacy and an uncommon degree of space.
By removing the overhead storage lockers, Emirates have increased the
available headroom to allow even taller passengers to comfortably stand
and move about the cabin with ease. The First Class cabin's advanced
lighting system has been designed to further increase your comfort,
replicating natural light as closely as possible. From the supreme
comfort of your leather seat, which at the press of a button can be
converted to a fully-flat bed, everything you might need is within your
reach. An advanced hand-held mode controller allows you to personalise
your experience, from ordering a meal to selecting a movie. Your privacy
is, of course, paramount. And so your mode controller also allows you to
close the doors to your suite, and to raise and lower a privacy screen
to separate your from your fellow travellers. If you are travelling in a
centre suite, your mode controller can also be used to raise or lower
the privacy screen that separates you from the adjacent suite, depending
on your personal preference.
In Flight Meals
Emirates' seven course First Class meals are individually prepared by
master chefs and are accompanied by an extensive range of award-winning
wines, which are carefully selected by sommeliers. Complimentary drinks,
including champagne, are offered throughout the flight, and a selection
of hot and cold canapés are severed between meals. Fresh speciality teas
and coffees will be served at your request, and hot chocolate, Horlicks
and Ovaltine are available to help you drift off. Should you have any
special dietary requirements or preferences, Emirates advises you to
order them when making your reservation.
Service
For the first time in aviation history you can indulge in an
invigorating shower at 43,000 feet onboard the Airbus A380. Located on
the upper deck of the Airbus A380, in front of the First Class cabin are

In the First Class Social Area, located at the front of the upper
deck, a unique water feature together with mood lighting creates a
serene ambience. Enjoy the privacy and exclusivity of your First Class
Social Area for a quick refreshment and drink or join fellow passengers
from Business Class in the exclusive Onboard Lounge located aft of the
upper deck. A selection of delicacies by leading international chefs,
